Scholarships for Arts and Sciences Students
Proceeds from the BBC fund scholarships for promising Arts and Sciences students who need a little extra assistance paying for their education.
In just five years the BBC has grown to become the largest single source of funding for student scholarships in the College of Arts and Sciences, having raised in excess of $1M to date.
– Event founder, Dean Todd Gleeson
If you are in a position to help out a scholar, please consider donating money or time to this worthy event.
Scholarship Criteria
In order to receive scholarships, our student scholars must:
- carry a grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- be in-state students in the College of Arts and Sciences
- be registered for financial aid
The Future
For this year’s event, our goal is to raise $300,000 so that we can offer more scholarships in the coming years!
We are also in the process of setting up an endowment that will fund scholars for years to come, regardless of whether or not a single pedal stroke is taken.
