In stark contrast to the previous two years, the 2008 ride took place under nearly cloudless skies. Temperatures were pefect for riding too, with the morning low a brisk but comfortable 49°F and afternoon temps around 75°F. |

Summer slipped out the back door once again in 2007. The temperature was a brisk 51°F as riders rolled out of the start. Things never really warmed up until the final beers were served in the post-ride chow tent. |
