- What is the minimum size of a team?
- Teams can be any group of four or more riders.
- Do all team riders need to ride together, or ride the same distance?
- No, team riders may ride different distances, and at their own pace.
- How do we register as a team?
- First, your team captain must go online and register as a
team captain
. During the registration process, s/he will then create the team. Afterward, team members can register to be part of the team by registering as team members
and choosing their team name from a drop down list.

Are there SAG vehicles?
- SAG support is included with your entry fee. Look for SUVs marked with flags and magnetic Buffalos. Each vehicle will be prepared to transport you and your bicycle to the next aid station. From there you will be moved onward or to the finish line.
- What if I need mechanical support on the route?
- Mechanical support will be provided at every aid station. Riders are encouraged to carry patch kits, spare tubes, pumps, and tools. Be sure to check your tires BEFORE you begin the ride. Old tires are the single biggest problem on the ride. Labor is always free, however there will be a charge for any parts required.
- What if I need medical attention on the route?
- Trained volunteers from the University of Colorado Athletic Department and EMTs will be available at aid stations. Two ambulances will also be on the route. Please contact the nearest aid station or SAG vehicle if you need immediate attention.
- Do I need rain gear?
- Colorado weather changes quickly. Riders are encouraged to carry clothing suitable for hot and cold temperatures and wet and dry weather.
